Our Technology
At the core of Aventus is our groundbreaking technology – a new type of wind turbine designed to overcome the limitations of traditional systems. Unlike conventional turbines that rely on exposed, horizontal blades, the Aventus Turbine utilizes a unique Involute Spiral Rotor design that maximizes energy capture while minimizing mechanical stress and noise. Our turbines are equipped with an AI-powered rotating dome that ensures optimal wind angle capture, regardless of the wind direction, allowing for more reliable power generation. The Venturi effect – a natural physical principle that accelerates wind through a narrow passage – is incorporated into our turbine’s design, increasing wind speed by up to 825% inside the turbine, resulting in far more energy production compared to conventional systems. We’ve also integrated storm-proof technology, which allows the turbine to automatically close its dome in extreme weather, ensuring the integrity of the system. Furthermore, our turbines are built to operate efficiently in urban environments, addressing the often-overlooked potential of wind energy in cities. The compact design allows us to install turbines in small, high-wind areas like rooftops or industrial zones, bringing wind energy to places that were previously unfeasible. Dr. Kris Bhatt has been mentoring students on various STEM projects since 2013. Over the past three years, he has successfully guided the Reach Rovers team to participate in NASA’s Human Exploration Rover Challenge (HERC). He is now proud to mentor Team Aventus for their journey in the Conrad Challenge.

Devaganga's passion for computer science and economics drives her interest in innovative problem-solving and creative design. Amvrin Paul is a physics and economics enthusiast, thus making the Aventus project a perfect fit for him to apply his knowledge of science as well as business management. He believes that innovation is necessary in order to create a better tomorrow, and hopes to provide effective contributions to Aventus in order to achieve this goal.
